Dermapharm Influencers promote a medical product for relief from insect bites

bite away® is to be promoted by influencers to 25- to 50-year-old women as a new and cool must-have in summer. Since this is a medical product, the advertising is subject to the strict regulations of the Medical Device Ordinance.

How can the product yet be promoted by influencers? For Dermapharm, the task is to develop and implement an awareness campaign.

Solution

Our campaign used the impact of Swiss influencers, who presented bite away® as part of their lifestyle, showing that they can enjoy their summer moments without worrying about itching insect bites.

Outcome

With 6 well-known Swiss influencers from three language regions of Switzerland – including Christa Rigozzi, Saturday.and.Sunday and Andrea Brotschi – we managed to generate a reach of almost 120’000, impressions of more than 360’000 and an engagement rate of 4.67%. We rate the impact of the message and quality of the content created as very high.
